At the recent ceremony for the return of the artifacts elders shared stories of their experiences growing up on the Wind River Indian Reservation. They were honest, vulnerable, angry, and at times, humorous. We all took this journey with them as we sat in the bright sun. On October 14, the Northern Arapaho Tribe and The Episcopal Church in Wyoming hosted a Coming Home Celebration – Noe’heeckoohut Hiisi’ – at St. Michael’s Circle in Ethete, Wyoming. The celebration represents a moment of reconciliation, healing, and shared community, as the sacred artifacts returned home. Let's Play Sports is thrilled to offer two complimentary Try Hockey sessions on Sundays this fall at the Snow King Ice Rink. On November 3, Maren Czura will run the 2024 NYC Marathon to raise money for Minding Your Mind, an organization that provides mental health education and suicide prevention training in schools nationwide. Maren is running in partnership with Minding Your Mind in memory of her mom, Gwen Czura, and is working toward a fundraising goal of $3,500. Starting October 6 through November 10, St. John's Church will be collecting food for the Stock it Up Food Drive. Our items to collect are sugar and jam/jelly!
