World Day of Prayer

Women, men, and children in more than 170 countries and regions will celebrate World Day of Prayer, Friday, March 2, 2018. This year, the women of the WDP Committee of Suriname call us to worship considering the words: “All God’s Creation is Very Good!” With these words as backdrop, we are invited to learn about Suriname’s history and rich cultural diversity. Join us at noon for worship in the sanctuary with a luncheon immediately following.

Women’s Lenten Luncheons

We invite you to join us for a Women’s Luncheon Series on Thursdays during Lent (and beyond). February 22 – March 29 at E.Leaven Food Co. at noon. Order your lunch and join us in the reserved side room for an hour of conversation and connection. All women are welcome. We encourage you during this season of Lent to put aside the demands and frenzy of the outside world.

Lifting Us Up – Arapahoe Ski Program

St. John’s is collaborating with the Doug Coombs Foundation to provide an outdoor adventure for youth from Arapahoe, WY, on the Wind River Indian Reservation. During the month of February, more than 30 kids will enjoy ski lessons, tubing and lunch at the Snow King Sports School. Two-Time Chili Champion

Another successful chili cook-off took place last Sunday here at St. John’s. The reigning champion, Ed Owens, took home the coveted red chili trophy for a 2nd time — Congrats! Many thanks to Will Davenport, Lonnie Brown, the Deming family, Doug Ayers, Debby Hopkins and the Bartz family for participating in the fun competition, too. 2017 Annual Report

The Annual Parish Meeting allows us to share the important work the committees, ministry groups, and the vestry have accomplished in the past year, plus showcase the good work God has been doing amongst us.
