Rewilding

This summer at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Jackson and The Chapel of the Transfiguration in Moose, we’re embracing the theme of Rewilding—a return to the untamed beauty of God’s presence in our lives, our shared story, and our worship. Rewilding invites us to strip away what is overly domesticated and rediscover the raw and challenging grace at the heart of our biblical narrative—the God who meets us on mountains, rivers, and under open skies. We’ll explore how church ritual and practice can be re-rooted in the organic rhythms of creation, drawing us closer to the Spirit that moves as freely in churches as in the wilderness. This season is a call to reconnect, reclaim, and revive—to let our faith grow wild and free again.
If you weren’t able to be with us at church today, we warmly invite you to stop by and pick up a special gift we’ve set aside for you. It’s a small token to help you enter more deeply into this season of spiritual renewal and sacred adventure.
👉 Stop by the church office this week during regular hours to pick up your gift. We’d love to see you—and to share this season of Rewilding with you.
