In thinking about how I want and ought to give of my resources, my heart, soul and mind first encourages inner clarification of what I get. I think it is human nature to do so.
CONNECTION: “a relationship in which a person or idea is linked or associated with something else. Interconnection, interdependence.”
Call it family. Call it friends. Call it community. Know it as understanding and non-judgmental acceptance. Experience it as companionship. Experience it as love.
There is more to me and to my well-being as I allow the St. John’s Episcopal Church outreach to fill me with all of the above. Thus my understanding of true Christianity is more fully lived: “…freedom to pursue a right relationship with God”.
