John Goettler
John and his wife Valerie moved their family to Jackson ten years ago and have been members of St. John’s since their arrival. John was the chair of the Endowment Committee for six years and continues to serve as a member. John was honored and humbled when Jimmy asked him to serve as a member of the Legacy of Love Campaign Steering Committee, and he is the chair of the Advance Gifts Committee. He has worked professionally as a fundraising consultant and a nonprofit foundation executive for the last 36 years. He launched his own consulting firm, The Goettler Group, in June 2022. They specialize in advising nonprofit organizations on securing financial resources to advance their mission and create lasting impact.
