Carol Owens
Carol and her husband, Ed moved to Jackson in 1977 from Wurzburg, Germany, where they were part of the dental corps. They have three children, a son, Shannon, who now owns Ed’s orthodontic practice, Summer, who owns the general dental practice, and Sunny, who has a general practice in Steamboat Springs. They have four wonderful grandchildren. Carol served on the Search Committee for Frank Johnson and Ken Asel, and Ed served on the vestry during the construction of the “big” church. She has taught Sunday school and served on the Altar Guild. Carol loves skiing, boating, hiking and traveling. She and Ed recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. St. John’s has been their church home for nearly 43 years.
