Hello! My name is Keona, and I am a writer and environmental scientist from Hawai'i. I just graduated from Stanford University, where I studied Earth Systems (B.S.) and Creative Writing. My favorite medium is the lyric essay, through which I write about place, belonging, and interconnectedness. This summer, I am most excited about engaging with JH Writers' nature writing programming!
