CAMPFIRE

Kindling connection one story at a time.
CAMPFIRE is …
an experiment in re-imagining how we gather as community
a deconstructed church and co-creative storytelling experience
a safe space to wrestle deeply with life’s big questions
a place where we can tell ghost stories and shelter one another in the dark
an invitation to stare into the fire, and talk to the fire …

Our Story

CAMPFIRE is an experiment in reimagining how we gather as community.
Since April 2023, we’ve been hosting monthly CAMPFIRE Gatherings, to catalyze connection and cultivate deeper curiosity as we engage in brave conversations around life’s big questions. About what really matters. About what moves and inspires us.
At our 2nd Sunday Gatherings, we invite a featured conversation partner — an artist, athlete, or large-hearted leader — to help us explore ways of living more loving, creative and courageous lives. Hosted in a subtly ritualized framework, we explore our guest’s life as if it were a “sacred text,” and draw out the “good news” embedded in it.
At our 4th Sundays gatherings we build on the conversation started earlier in the month and lean deeper into its themes. Drawing on elements evoked in our 2nd Sunday gathering, we ask an iteration of the question, “Are We __?” to help us group-source a little wisdom as together we navigate this beautiful, bewildering life.
At both our regular gatherings, we create a space for exploring how what we do and make — moving through the mountains, making films and music, building a business or nonprofit, or a thousand other things — can help shape the ways we live more meaningful and loving lives. We always finish with an invitation to linger and commune over casual conversation, Billy’s Burgers and Saloon fare, after. And all are welcome, always.
CAMPFIRE also hosts a number of small group gatherings outside of Sundays — reading and discussion groups, outdoor meet-ups, and other sorts of hangs — to amplify the connection, and deepen the conversation. We’d absolutely love for you to join us in creating a loving space to courageously unpack perceptions and preconceptions around what it is we’re doing in life. What life is all about.
No experts, only fellow practitioners.
Bring your deep knowing, bring your questions, gather with us around the fire. And let’s all shine a little more brightly.
