Join us to make palm crosses on Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 a.m. in Hansen Hall. The palm branch is a symbol of victory, triumph, peace and eternal life. Palm branches were laid across the road during Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We will also decorate the church for Palm Sunday.
You’re invited to our annual Easter brunch on Sunday, April 5 at 8:45 a.m. The church will provide a honey baked ham as the main dish and ask you to bring a side dish or dessert. Sign up to help! Join the flower team on Saturday, April 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to decorate the sanctuary and the chapel. It’s an especially striking and beautiful way to symbolize the new life that emerges on Easter morning. Just show up and we will enjoy this tradition together of decorating our worship spaces for Easter Sunday.
Now through Monday, March 30, 2026. On Easter, we will place flowers in worship spaces. As a symbol of purity, hope, innocence, and peace you may donate these in honor or memory of loved ones and take the plant home with you after the service. I took the dog, Ladybird is her name, down to Cliff Creek for an afternoon hike last Sunday. It was one of those cold, clear bluebird days that we’ve been graced with in January.
