Sensational Start to Stewardship
We kicked off to our stewardship season on Consecration Sunday and it was a great day. If you missed it, you can hear Jimmy's inspirational message and check out a special Stewardship Slow Jam here. That day and the days preceding, we received 65 pledges totaling $307,792.60!
Thank you, St. John’s family. We will be mailing out pledge cards in the coming weeks. You can also pledge online, or pick up a card in the office or church pew at a service.
We all know just how much we can pack into our glorious, albeit short Jackson summer! And, here at St. John’s it’s no different. Here are a few things we have accomplished this summer.
- Dreamed big dreams at dreaming dinners and on special pillowcases
- Built a new deck with extra seating at the Chapel of the Transfiguration
- Purchased appliances and counter tops for a much needed upgrade at our summer chaplain condo
- Removed and replaced trees on our campus to ensure the safety of our little ones at the preschool
- Travelled on a youth wilderness adventure in Yellowstone National Park
- Pruned, planted, fed, watered and mowed our beautiful green space for enjoyment by our community and visitors
- Explored our neighboring organizations in the "know your neighbors" youth service week
Much of our 2019 budget expenses are planned for this time. If you would like to pay on your 2018 pledge or make a special contribution at this point it would be helpful! Thank you, St. John’s, and let’s keep up the great work together.
