Stories of Surrender
How do we wrap our heads—and more crucially, our hearts—around this concept of surrender? How, as people of faith, do we know the difference between giving up, and giving over to God?
For the next four Wednesdays, Travis, Brian, Mary, and Jimmy will share their own personal stories of surrender. By witnessing to the ways in which they've each faced moments of impasse, moments in which their own best efforts failed, that have required personal surrender, we'll lean into ways of embodying our faith and love that are more open-hearted, soft-hearted, and vulnerable in the face of a culture that often asks us to do otherwise.
