Growing our Women's Ministry

Following our fantastic women’s retreat at Thomas the Apostle Center in Cody in May, I am more committed than ever to growing our women’s ministry. There is a deep need for spiritual and social connections with women across generations and varied life experiences.

Happening Now: Thursday Lunches – women meet every Thursday at noon for lunch and fellowship. Remember the first Thursday lunch is provided, other Thursdays, bring your own.

Coming Soon: New Women’s Worship and Connection – We are creating a Women’s Group that will combine small group engagement and large group worship and fellowship. Keep an eye on this space for information in the fall. Our first gathering will be on Tuesday, October 18 - and then the third Tuesday of every month. Stay tuned!

Any time you are ready: Let’s just talk! One of my favorite roles as a priest is to serve as your pastor. To be there to listen, provide a sounding board, a non-anxious and non-judgmental presence. I love it when you come to talk with me - whether during a crisis, a celebration, or a life transition.

And sometimes, we have to talk about hard stuff. This feels even more true than ever after the recent Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. I cannot assume that all women in our church feel about this decision as I do, but I want to be a safe place where women can come and talk about what this has brought up for them. Or anything else that is weighing on your heart or spirit. Come on by – and let’s talk. Love, Mary
