Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry: The identity of those receiving care and what takes place in each caring relationship remains absolutely private.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Paid staff and volunteers come together at St. John's to work towards achieving the mission and visions of the church.
Both contribute in significant ways and volunteers are seen to compliment the work done by paid staff. Volunteers do not replace or displace paid positions. We value the experience and insights of both paid and volunteer staff and encourage feedback about our church, processes, and programs. Such feedback can be passed through the Rector or Vestry Members.

Music
The Choir is led by Pam Drews Phillips. Choir sings at the 10am service and rehearses Wednesday s from 5:30-6:30 throughout the year. The Hand Bell Choir Practices for a 10-week period in preparation for two performances for Christmas and Easter. All ages welcome.
